Onophotopoeia

Some times even the most mundane of scenes, the most commonplace of faces or the most trivial of objects prove to be a cradle of beauty...unleashing new meanings when looked at again and again. The true magic of photography lies in the fact that we can capture the fleeting moments to revisit them...to listen to the music that the image resounds... Onophotopoeia...

Wow - well done, man. The colours are amazing. The shot of the road is my fave (but the single leaf makes me want to sing O Canada).
We should link blogs, what do you say?
Talk to you soon.

stunning. autumn here is barely beginning...leaves still largely green. winter is getting more delayed, and at this rate, when its time for summer, we'll have winter. and vice-versa.

@Jas: The grass is always greener on the other coast! I will post another pic of Buffalo after around a month or so...I am sure that will alleviate your cravings for New York! :)

Honied yellow dripping gold,
Leaf of autumn in the cold,
Dancing on in crisp despair,
Whirling on in the enchanted air,
Falling silently into its earthen tomb,
Away from the parent tree's rooted arm,
Perhaps the silence will be broken then,
By hollow cries of autumn grief

and the trees.......remind me of joyce kilmer's words : " i think that i shall never see, a poem lovely as a tree" !

wud give an arm and a leg to witness the fall colors .......guess the PIGS have no choice but to wait that much longer for the finer things in life......:(

Those are truly vibrant colors. I can dream that such beauty will unfold here in central Arkansas. I'm thinking that the current weather conditions here might make my dream come true. If it does, I'll try to take photos as lovely as yours.

And thanks for visiting my crepe myrle post today. I hope to see you again.

These are gorgeous autumn shots! Is this a recent shot? We're a little beyond that stage up here (in Nova Scotia) now. Most of the leaves have fallen off. :'( Unfortunate. I love the Fall. These are beautiful reminders though. :)
